Upcoming Silent Blue® Product Changes
We are currently in the process of redesigning Silent Blue®. Our current design uses Mylar film to prevent rips and tears during installation. Keeping the consumers best interest in mind is our top priority.
The unnecessary film is being removed (the foam used is already moisture proof) and replaced with netting that will serve the same purpose at a lower cost. When installing the new Silent Blue® material, place the netting side on top to prevent rips and tears during installation of the primary floor.
This new design both lowers cost and reduces waste during manufacturing. Whenever waste can be reduced while saving the end user money, it is an obligation that any responsible corporation, individual, or team should go along with.
- Mylar will now be kept out of landfills, reducing waste.
- Confusion will be avoided during installation.
- The new netting design provides better structural integrity and produces less waste during the manufacturing process.
- The new netting design also improves the sound deadening qualities.
